Earl Richard “Dick” Knoblauch, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home with his wife by his side. Born in 1936, he was a son of the late Earl Richard and Luzena Knoblauch. After graduating high school, Dick served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He later retired from DANA after over 30 years of service. Dick enjoyed traveling, his computer, and his cats. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ann (Maxton) Knoblauch of Fort Wayne; daughter, Teresa Bailey of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Tristan Bailey of Fort Wayne and Christian Frank of Georgia; and three great-grandchildren. Brothers David James (Rheta),John Allen, Thomas Carl, and Norman (deceased). Sisters Dorcas (Rev. Bruce) Meissner, Sue Ann (Terry) Kienzle and Ruth "Lauren". Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 1:00pm at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Burial at South Scott Church Cemetery, Angola. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Allen County SPCA.
