EVELYN A. JARRETT, 84, of Fort Wayne, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Wood view Health Care Center. "She was a loving wife, mother and friend." She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church; sang in the church choir and Northern Notes choir; and volunteered at Parkview Hospital for 18 years. Surviving are her daughters, Arlene Huber of Muncie and Carol (Rhett) Burgess of Leo; son, Scott (Beth) Jarrett of Huntington; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Dale (Eva) Bowman of Craigville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C., in 2004; and son, Robert A., in 1982. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Bethany United Methodist Church, 7715 Sunny Lane, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Charles Scott officiating.
