Georgana Mary Momper Cater

GEORGANA MARY CATER, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Heritage Park. Born Nov. 21, 1928, in New Haven, she was a daughter of the late Al and Florence (Dodane) Momper. She attended International Business College and earned an Associate Degree in Business. Georgana was an engraver with La Hartz Trophies & Awards for over 12 years and was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Her family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Park for their dedication and unwavering service over the last 11 years. Surviving are her children, Stanley C. Cater, Richard A. (Renee) Cater, Janet M. (Dean) Stillman, Kenneth E. Cater, Gary P. Cater, and Brian B. (Kimberly) Cater, all of Fort Wayne; and ten grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ross H. Cater; three sisters; and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Cater. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Monsignor John Suelzer officiating.
