Jack G. Minser, 86, of Fort Wayne, died on August 14, 2014. Born on March 16, 1928, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late John M. and Marie A. Minser. He proudly served his country in the Army and retired from Perfection Bakery after 41 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley L. Minser; sons, Glenn (Susan) Minser, of Kendallville and Brian (Tonya) Minser, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Matthew Kinsey, Katie Kinsey, Sara Wilhoite and Daniel Minser; great-grandson, Linkin Barger; and sister, Alice Dickmeyer. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Dan Minser.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Sunday August 17, 2014, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10 am until time of service. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
