JANE I. MEINEKE, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011, at Harbour Assisted Living. Born Oct. 25, 1926, in Fort Wayne, she was a Bookkeeper at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, retiring in 1988. She also worked at the Indiana District Office of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and the ladies bowling league. Surviving are husband, Robert D.; daughter, Deborah (Paul) Keppler of Bay Village, Ohio; son, Richard (Susan) Meineke of Ansonia, Conn.; and five grandchildren. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1126 Barr St. with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Peter Cage officiating. Visitation also from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
