Joseph A. “Joe” Griffin, 70, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was born on August 26, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Dana and Beatrice (Rodriguez) Griffin Helber and stepdad, Dutch Helber. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver and forklift operator for Taylor Distributing. In his free time, he enjoyed watching all types of sports, especially St. Louis Cardinals. Surviving family include his wife, Linda Griffin; children, Jolyne Haas and Shad Griffin; sisters, Kathy Thompsen and Debbie Seals; step-children, Eric McDaniel, Kristen Nuthals, and Lindsay Garrison; and five grandchildren. Per Joe’s requests, no services will be held at this time. Memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
