Leonard E. Small, age 82, of Fort Wayne, Indiana died peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, of natural causes. He was a member of ARC and worked decades at their workshop. Lenny was an avid bowler-sometimes scoring over 200. A lifelong fisherman, Lenny even owned his own boat. He loved life, never knew a stranger and liked everyone he met. Lenny loved babies and children, and they were drawn to him because of his sweet, happy personality. His sense of humor and wit endeared him to everyone. Lenny was awarded gold medals for Dancing with the ARC Stars. He had a passion for music and a contagious laugh. Lenny is preceded in death by his father; Alonzo Laughlin, mother; Pauline Laughlin, brother; Tom, and sister; Nancy Klopfenstein. Surviving are his brother; Doug(Lisa)Laughlin, many nieces and nephews, and special friend; Lorie. A visitation for Leonard will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
