Lillian Bernadine "Bea" (Scott) Beavans, 86, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Bea was born on August 16, 1937 in Jay County, Indiana, a daughter of the late Forrest D. and Clara E. (Fritzinger) Scott. Bea had six siblings and grew up on a farm where the family grew corn, soybeans, and had livestock. Bea married Hubert L. Beavans on June 17, 1956. They shared 18 years of marriage together when Hubert passed away in 1974. Bea and Hubert had two children, Michael and Debra. Bea will be remembered for her love for her son, Michael, and her dedication to his care. Bea loved gardening, camping, and enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables. Bea was a wonderful cook and an avid reader. Surviving family include her children, Michael and Debra; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends at Easter Seals ARC of Northeast Indiana and Indiana Special Olympics. Bea was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, and her six siblings. Private services were held per family's request. Her final resting place is in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
