

In 1956, Margueriete married the love of her life, Elmer Yoder. After Elmer’s death in 1970, at the age of 33, she never remarried, but rather devoted her life to her four young children. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandma, aunt, sister, friend and a passionate follower of Christ. Her love of the Lord, her family and her servant’s heart are her legacy.
Margueriete was an active, lifelong member of Central Ministries in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She is survived by her four children, Jay (Debra) Yoder of Grabill, Roland (Joanne) Yoder of Hudson, Brenda (Steve) Malfait, of Woodburn, and Fay (Dean) Gerbers, of Hamilton Lake; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, her beloved brothers, Menno, Louis, Amos, Delbert and sister, Iona.
Visitation is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Central Ministries (5801 Schwartz Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835), with a celebration of life service to follow at 12:00 noon. Private burial at Yaggy Cemetery. Due to CDC guidelines and the current global pandemic, face-coverings will be required. Funeral arrangements by Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home.
