

Marguerite Marie (Urschel). Seifert, 92, of Fort Wayne, died in her home on Sunday May 18, 2014. Born on June 5, 1921, in Wabash, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Edythe (Hewitt) Urschel. She married Paul E. “Felix” Seifert on October 2, 1948. A member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, she retired from Lincoln National Bank as a teller; she was also an active member of the Fort Wayne Women’s Club and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. Marguerite loved to read and enjoyed entertaining guests and playing bridge with her friends. She is survived by her children, Susan (Steven) Helmer, of Porter and Thomas (Pamela) Seifert, of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Andrew (Alane) Helmer, of Carmel and Garren and Gavin Seifert, of Fort Wayne. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. “Felix” Seifert; siblings, Dorothy Eileen, Charles “Fred” Fredrick, Herbert Paul and Itha “Gene” Eugene.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday May 22, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 4 to 8 pm, Wednesday May 21, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Entombment will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
