Marion Wendell Driscoll

Marion W. Driscoll, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday April 7, 2014. Born on February 9, 1922, in Edgerton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Andrew & Linnie Driscoll. A member of Zion Lutheran Church. He retired in 1986 after 41 years of service with Kroger and Somers Bakery. He is survived by his children, David (Donna) Driscoll, Cynthia (Michael) Heffelfinger, Elaine (Gary) Tracy, Sandra (Jack) Herdman and Rhonda (John) Simpson, all of Fort Wayne; Sister-in-law, Velma Driscoll; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Marcella L. Driscoll, in 2013; son, Ricky Driscoll; and 11 siblings, Maude Dager, Arthur Driscoll, Florence Paxton, Madeline Driscoll, Bonnie Austin, Mildred Bade, Hazel Amspaugh, Cecil Driscoll, Helen Hattendorf, Ethel Weikart and Allen Driscoll. Funeral service is 2 PM Saturday April 12, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2313 Hannah St. Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Douglas Punke officiating. Calling will also be held from 4 to 7 PM Friday April 11, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, or Parkview Hospice
