Nancy L. Elliott Klopfenstein, 89, of Grabill, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born on April 14, 1934, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Pauline Laughlin. For many years, she owned and operated Mother Hubbard's in Grabill. She loved spending time with her family & friends. She loved to travel & was lovingly known to her Grandchildren as “Grandma Florida”. Surviving family include her husband, Dennis Klopfenstein; brothers, Leonard and Doug (Lisa) Laughlin; son, Rick (Nancy) Chilcote; stepdaughter, Kelly Toth; stepsons, Troy (Shushan) Klopfenstein and Marc (Lynn) Elliott; grandchildren, Joshua (Sara) and Jennifer; great grandchildren, Elishua, Ellyana, and Elon; and step-grandchildren, Natalie, Peyton, Sam, and Brandon. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Leo Memorial Park, Leo. Memorials may be made to Gateway Woods.
