Patricia "Pat" Ann Gray

Patricia A. “Pat” Gray, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Coventry Meadows. Born in Hudson, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Virgil and Marion “Maxine” (Teegarden) Hoover. Pat worked in Blueprints with General Electric prior to working as a Key Punch Operator with Lincoln Life. She was also a member of Waynedale Baptist Church for several years. Pat treasured her family and church; she had a special gift of hospitality that she shared with others. Pat was a very strong woman and also a cancer survivor. She is survived by her children, Michael Gray, Robert Gray, and Nancy Gray, all of Fort Wayne; and she was a loving “Aunt Pat” to many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Gray in 1987; sister, Phyllis Bauer; and brother, David Hoover. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00am at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Waynedale Baptist Church or to Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
