PETER FACCENTO, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Dupont Hospital. He was born July 23, 1920 in Shelton, Conn. He retired in 1978 as Plant Superintendent from Dana Corp. after 38 years. He was a World War II Army Veteran where he received the Bronze Star. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. "He was a very devoted husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him." Surviving are his daughter, Anita P. Faccento of New Haven; son, Peter J. Faccento of Fort Wayne; brother, Michael Faccento of Warner Robbins, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita R. who died last year; parents, Rocco and Nellie Faccento; two brothers and one sister. Private services to be held at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd. with no visitation. Rev. Father Jacob Meyer officiating. Burial at Catholic Cemetery.
