Ramon worked at General Electric, retiring in 1996. After retirement, he worked at the Memorial Coliseum and in the hardware department at Sears. He also volunteered at Cross Borders for many years.
He is survived by his children, Beth (Mike) McIlwain, Tom (Nancy) Franke; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Jan Franke; and sister, Jean Hille.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Franke; son, David Franke; siblings, Richard Franke, Marilyn Franke and Carol Jones.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 10 am with calling one hour prior at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN.
Visitation will be held from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, June 22, 2025, also at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, IN.
