Ronald A. Pepoy

Ronald Albert Pepoy, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born on August 30, 1940 in Windber, PA., he was a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Vizi) Pepoy. Ronald earned a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fenn College and was employed as a Mechanical Engineer with Navistar; retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic minister for St. Charles and St. Henry’s as well as being a marriage preparation advisor. He enjoyed painting, golfing and most of all spending time with his wife, family and grandsons. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary C. (O’ Donnell) Pepoy of Fort Wayne; daughter, Mary Beth Pepoy of Fort Wayne; son, Mark E. (Jennifer) Pepoy of Oregon, WI; three grandsons, Liam, Elliot and Gabriel Pepoy; two brothers, Joseph (Phyllis) Pepoy of Aurora, OH, and Michael (Alice) Pepoy of Bolivia, N.C.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by twin grandsons, Matthew and Thomas Pepoy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1702 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen, Miss. Virginia’s Mission House, or to Aging & In Home Services.
