RUTH N. HIRSCHEY, 65, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at her residence. Born in Fort Wayne, she retired from ITT on April 1, 2001. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Ted Hirschey; children, Ted Hirschey Jr. of Indianapolis, Marnie Hirschey and Amanda Hirschey, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Madison Elliott and Mathew Elliott; brother, Ronald (Carol) Hitzeman; brother-in-law, Lester Selking; and nephews, Scotty Hitzeman and David Selking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mabel Hitzeman; and sister, Patricia Selking.
