

TIFFANY KERNEY, 36, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 6, 2011, at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, Ill., after an extended illness. Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., she resided in Noblesville, Indiana, with her husband Seth Kerney; he survives. She graduated from Paul Harding High School in 1992 and was a member of the Harding marching band. She was also a graduate of Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne. She worked at Irwin Mortgage in Indianapolis before her illness. She was an avid animal lover and dearly loved her pets, cocker spaniel Hydie, and rabbit, Phoebie. She was a member of First Baptist Church, now known as Fort Wayne Baptist Church. Surviving are her parents, Stanley and Glenda Stokes; and her sister, Teresa Stokes. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Delmar and Celia Kerney; brother-in-law, Michael Kerney; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tim in 1977. Services is at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, Ind. Calling is from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Reverend Dr. Wungreiso Valui officiating. Burial will be at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery in Covington, Ohio.
