W. Mac Arnold

Warren "MAC" ARNOLD, 93, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home, surrounded with love by his family. Born Jan. 30, 1928 in Angola, Ind, he was the son of Howard and Wava "Joyce" (McKen zie) Arnold. Mac attended Angola High School where he enjoyed playing on the basketball team. After High School, Mac attended IU prior to joining the Navy, where he was stationed in San Diego, Calif., during the Korean War. He returned to Fort Wayne began his career of over 36 years as an insurance adjuster with American States Insurance Company. Mac was admired for his incredible sense of humor and was loved by all. He enjoyed 27 years at Coldwater Lake, along with traveling with his wife, fishing, riding his motorcycle, golfing, and playing poker. Mac also enjoyed listening to Blues and Jazz. Mac was a devoted husband, an amazing father and grandfather and will be missed greatly. He is survived by his wife of more than 63 years, Nancy L. (Miller) Arnold; children, Kim (Bobby) Lukasheay, Mark (Cathy) Arnold and Tracy Gunter; sister, Jean Errington; grandchildren, Brittany Hendrix, Ryan (Kelsee) Arnold, Nicholas Gunter, and Audrey Lukasheay; and five great-grandchildren. Private family services have been arranged. Burial will take place in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Donations may be directed to Riley Hospital for Children, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
