
Walter George Niblick, 89, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026. He was born on June 22, 1936, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Charles Clark Niblick and Helen (Erhardt) Niblick.
He served his country in the United States Air Force. Walt worked for 33 years at Magnavox as a Mechanical Designer and then manager of the casting lab. He was also a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Walt was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church where he was an Elder, on the board of finance, served as an usher and also belonged to the men's club.
In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, boating, riding motorcycles and also enjoyed Sudoku puzzles.
Walter was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 71 years of marriage with his wife, Nancy Lee (Zuber) Niblick. He will be deeply missed by his children, Deborah (Michael) Rathsack, Carolyn (Steven) Heck, Jeffery (Sandra) Niblick, and Tracy "Trace" (Kathy) Niblick; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Florence Witzenman and Elizabeth Neff.
Visitation will be held on May 28, 2026 from 10 am to 12:30 pm with funeral beginning at 12:30 pm at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46815.
Burial will take place in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Ft. Wayne, IN.
