Christina Rose Furber passed away on September 9, 2014. Christina was born on September 18, 1987 to Charles and Carolyn Furber in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Christina was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. Christina suffered from Hyper-mobility autoimmune disease also known as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Despite her limited mobility, she was always willing to “lend a hand”.
She was an outgoing, fun, and talented musician. She learned to play the piano by ear, along with drums, accordion, harmonica, saxaphone and numerous other instruments. She was always wanting to learn something new. She enjoyed camping, fishing with her Dad and Brother challenging them to see who caught the most and biggest fish. She loved being with her Mom and helping her “Nana” out in the yard. She also took joy spending time with family and friends, and working on the family’s mini ranch, as she anxiously awaited the arrival of her new horse.
She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, eyes that can “light up” a room and a huge heart!
She survived by her parents Charles and Carolyn Furber, brother Christopher Furber, grandmother Arlyes Carnes, and numerous family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on September 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary located at 6630 S. US Hwy 85/87, Fountain, Colorado.
The family requests that if you can’t attend the services to please release a bright colored balloon in honor of Christina Rose Furber.
