Dale Michael Rash

Dale Michael Rash (Mike) 53, of Fountain Colorado passed away November 16, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. Mike was born May 8, 1958 in Auburn NY to Dale and Santa Rash. He attended Fountain Fort Carson High School. Mike was a free spirit and though he was taken too soon he lived life doing the things he enjoyed. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his family. He had them all by his side up until the time he went peacefully to be with the Lord. He was passionate about sports and loved all Colorado teams. Mike had the most amazing heart, he loved unconditionally and was always forgiving. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that was contagious. He loved all children, especially his 3 grandchildren. He loved all animals, many of which he is now reunited with. Mike was a hard working man who tried his hands at many different jobs throughout his life. Mike is survived by his father, Dale Rash of Fountain, CO., his children Joe (Alison) Rash of Waipahu, HI., Michelle (Brandon) Green of Colorado Springs, CO., stepdaughter Melissa Pindell of Fountain, CO., his siblings Dalene Ball of Colorado Springs, CO., Jim (Debbie) Rash of Fountain, CO., Karen (Tom) Marshall of Fountain, CO., Phil (Wendy) Rash of Colorado Springs, CO., Connie (Stan) Wolfe of Delevan, NY., 3 grandchildren, Madison Green, Damien Rash and McKinsley Pindell and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Santa Rash in 2009 and his brother in law Leo Ball in 2010. Mike touched many hearts and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be on Sunday November 20, 2011 from 5-7PM and the service will be Monday November 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM. These will be held at Dove Witt, 6630 S. HWY 85/87 in Fountain. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mikes name to Pikes Peak Hospice, who took wonderful care of him.
