Erasmo "Gizmo" Ruiz-Madrid

Erasmo Ruiz-Madrid (Gizmo) born November 25, 1976, passed away May 14, 2017. He joins his daughter Grace, and his mother-in-law, Theresa Reyes. He leaves behind his wife Rachell Ruiz, Son Alexander Ruiz and two Daughters, Mercedes Ruiz and Samantha Ruiz,Father-in-law, Ernesto Reyes, Father, Jose Ruiz , Step-Mother, Mary Elaine Ruiz , Mother, Enedina Madrid, Sister, Yesenia Ruiz-Madrid , Step Sisters, Krystal Ruiz-Madrid, Julianna Cano, Teresa Cano , Gaylene Madrid, Step-Brothers, Robert Madrid and Ramon Cano, Brother-in-laws, Jimmy Twiss, Tony Twiss, Jesse Reyes, Ernest Reyes and Frank Reyes. Erasmo is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews

His children were his life; he cherished every moment with them. Erasmo was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His smile was as big as his heart. He will be greatly missed by the Colorado Springs School District, where he is a Certified Professional Locksmith. Erasmo was extremely loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817, will a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80907.

Erasmo will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, CO. 80903
