.James Douglas McFarland 87 Passed away September 2, 2014. James was born in 1926 to his parents Elanzo and Leta (Joseph) McFarland. After High School James joined the army where he served 22 years and retired as a Supply Sergeant. James met the love of his life Anny G. Hochstras and they were married on April 30, 1964. James is survived by his wife: Anny , a brother: Donald McFarland and two Nieces Jerry Bownam and Kathy Golden Visitation will be Sunday from September 7, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary , Funeral Mass will be Monday September 8, 2014 10:00am at Soldiers Memorial Chapel on Fort Carson with Burial to Follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery In Lieu of flowers memorial controbutions can be made to the Colorado Parkinsons Foundation of colorado springs.
