On Saturday April 17th, 2021, Jayson Adonis “Sonny” Izquierdo, beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away at age 9 after being struck by a car. He was hit while crossing a street and passed away 30 minutes later after fighting for his life in the ER.
Sonny was born on February 14, 2012 in Maryland to Jairo and Melissa Izquierdo. Throughout his life he experienced living in so many different places, from Virginia to New York City to Korea to Colorado.
Sonny loved playing video games on his switch and tablet. His favorite games to play were Fortnight, Rocket League and Roblox. He was also a huge anime fan. He especially loved Demon Slayer, Naruto, One Piece and High Rise Invasion.
Sonny was a ray of sunshine in this world and will be thoroughly missed. He made an impact on so many lives in such a devastatingly short time. Sonny was known by everyone as the goofy intelligent comedian with the best dance moves who always put a smile on your face.
Sonny is survived by his parents Jairo and Melissa, his brothers Jayden and Jaylin, his sister Jazmiya, his dogs Toby, Daisy and Bronx, and a host of family and friends.
