Joseph Bishop

Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep, at his home in Security, CO Monday December 12, 2022. Born in Newbury, MA, he was preceded in death by his adopted mom Patricia “Pat” Berney. He is survived by his main provider Billie Allor, second provider Rachel Flores, third provider Peggy Bodnar; Adopted Aunt Pamela (Tommy) Bateman, cousins Bill (Andrea) Pratt, their kids Noah, Garret & Ethan, Michael (Lori) Pratt and their kids Beckett & Jackson. Joe graduated from CSU Pueblo with a degree in Fine Arts in 2014. Joe was a painter, he loved to play boccia, do archery, he enjoyed swimming and kayaking. Joe was performed in Dragon Theater productions and Express Yourself Drama Group for many years. He loved spending time with his friends and loved hosting parties. Joe faced many physical struggles and limitations in his life, but he never let it stop him from trying new things, having adventures or enjoying life to the fullest!

A celebration of life for Joseph will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817.
