Judy Rose (Porter) Brooks was born on December 3, 1942, in Portland, Michigan to Lawrence and Hilda Porter. She married Clarence Edson Brooks on September 5, 1959, in Albion, Michigan. They had four children during their marriage. Judy passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 83.
Judy was preceded in passing by her parents, Lawrence and Hilda, brothers James Calvin, Donald Wayne, and Robert Preston.
Judy is survived by her loving husband Clarence Brooks, her sons Steven Edson, Clarence M, Jeffrey Lawrence, her daughter Shawn Renee, and her sister Susan Jean.
Judy will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, with a committal service on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 10am.
