Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Kerr

Kathleen Marie Kerr “Kathy” passed away on January 1, 2013 at her home in Fountain, at the age of 56 year, 3 months and 9 days. She was born on September 20, 1956 in Norristown PA to Joseph and Barbara Jean (George) Mash.

Kathie married the love of her life Keith on February 7, 1982 in Colorado Springs. Kath loved sports of all kinds, especially baseball, football and hockey. She loved the outdoors, hiking with Keith. Both Kathy and Keith “discovered” Mueller State Park in Divide before it was known to very many folks and covered every trail in the park “We like to say we owned Mueller State park, it was our park”.

Keith always referred to Kathy as “his bride” and very seldom as his wife. Keith’s mother always quipped that “you two have the longest honeymoon in history.”

While Kathy had served in the military for 17 years and had recently embarked on a new course – one that involved in following in the footsteps of Christ.

She is survived by her husband Keith J. Kerr, sisters Darlene, Jo Anne and Debbie and brothers Joseph and Ronnie. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Joseph a. and Barbara Mash and 1 bother Billy Mash.

Funeral Service for Kathy will be: Visitation Monday January 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the funeral itself will be held Tuesday January 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
