Lazarita (Sara) Abeyta of Fountain passed away August 4, 2016. She was born April 16, 1922 in Las Vegas, NM to Francisco Duran and Carolina Crispin. Sara married Jose Abeyta January 18, 1937 in Las Vegas NM and moved to Fountain in 1948.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Abeyta. She is survived by a son Timio Abeyta, wife Grace, five grandchildren: Glen Rayburn of Virginia, Patrick Abeyta of Fountain, Veronica Magness, husband Mike of Pennsylvania, Heather Abeyta and Orville Abeyta both of Texas and 10 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 6pm to 7pm at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, with Rosary to follow.
Funeral service will be Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Colorado Springs.
Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fountain, CO.
Memorial contributes may be made to St. Dominic Catholic Church.
