Mary B. Horton Erker

She married Arthur A. Erker in Garden City, KS on April 20, 1959. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2006.

She is survived by four sons: Brian (Brenda), Kevin (Laheeta), Mark (Nikki) and Clifford (Mary) Erker all of Colorado Springs; one daughter Valerie (Derwin) Doze of Liberal, KS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Leslie, Leigh, Anthony, Killian, Lena, Quade and Trystan; two great-grandchildren: Anthony and Ashton; two brothers: Bill Horton of Carlonville, IL and Louis Horton of Buffalo, MN and two sisters Roberta Allen of Garden City, KS and Betty McCorkle of Pueblo, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Mary was a long-time resident of Security, CO. She had belonged to the local TOPS group since 1971 and made many lifetime friends there. She enjoyed going to Cripple Creek, especially when she came home a winner and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate her life at 10:00 A.M. Saturday Sept. 22, 2012 at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. Hwy 85/87 Fountain, CO
