Sharon Ann Nepermann

Peacefully passing at home surrounded by her family in Colorado Springs at the age of 80 on May 10, 2025. Sharon is survived by her husband of almost 59 years, Gloyd Nepermann, daughters, Jodi (David) Valdivia, Kirsta Gurnsey, and Tobye (Duane) Grogg. Her legacy leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jacqualine (Carl) Edlund and her brother Duane (Sherry) Emmett. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, 2 brothers and a sister.

Sharon was born on November 23, 1944, in Midlothian, IL. 1 of 6 Emmett children growing up on a farm, she attended Lincoln Park High School, Illinois State and loved peanut butter, crackers, puzzles, word searches, Prince, Coke and her dogs Odie and Oreo. She started and ran a successful cleaning business when her children were young so she could always be there for her family. Affectionately dubbed, “The Godmother”, she was our rock and our fierce protector. She will be missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Services will be held at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 10AM on May 30, 2025. Dinner will follow for her close family to celebrate her life.
