Andrew Connick McLaughlin passed away gently in his parents’ arms June 9, 2020. He was an unexpected gift to his parents, Brad and Elena McLaughlin and his sister, Sophia, who taught them to be more patient, generous, accepting, and loving.
He had a strong unbreakable spirit that all tiny heroes have. He enjoyed classical music, loved spinning around, and giggled at mommy’s kisses. He appreciated daddy’s heart-to-heart talks, adored his sissy, and played lots of ‘smack-smack hands’ with his family and friends. He was Sophia’s buddy boy and mommy’s Drew Drew. Many envied his long eye lashes and his lion’s mane. The house will be too quiet at night without his snoring.
Andrew was loved deeply, and love never fades.
Mama’s boy for life.
Andrew’s family would like to share his favorite nursery rhyme because he was the boy who stole their hearts:
A-tisket, a-tasket
A green and yellow basket
I wrote a letter to my love
And on the way I dropped it
I dropped it
I dropped it
Yes, on the way I dropped it
A little boy he picked it up
and put it in his pocket.
