He is survived by two sons, Carroll Nicholas III and Reggie Nicholas; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and four siblings, Warren Nicholas, Herman Nicholas, Edna Mathieu, and Lucille Alexis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Nicholas.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Fredericksburg Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
