Dashawn Lamar Moore-Taylor

DaShawn Lamar Moore-Taylor was born on February 6,1993, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia to Vernice Jefferson and Lamonté Berryman. On July 4, 2025, DaShawn was granted his wings and departed this life unexpectedly.

He is now reunited with his paternal grandmother, Sharon Berryman.

DaShawn was affectionately known as Dai Dai. He had a vibrant spirit and a warm heart that touched everyone he met. He loved to travel, explore new places, was eager to meet new people, and create lasting connections wherever he went.

Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he leaves behind will live on forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.His joyful personality, adventurous spirit, and unconditional love for his family and friends will be cherished always.

DaShawn leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Tyesha Mickens-Moore, his beloved children, Kai Moore, Kayloni, Kennedi, Bryson Hill, and Elijah & Josiah Hicks. His mother, Vernice Jefferson (Tony) and father, Lamonté Berryman (Nicole), also his stepfather, Jhon Corma.

DaShawn is survived by siblings Terrance Moore-Taylor, Shantaé Henderson (Gary), Kareem Colbert, Lorenzo Ball, Imani Ball, Isaiah Campbell (Jamonté). His maternal grandparents Pearline Moore and Jerry Fraley Sr. and paternal grandfather, Elton Berryman.

He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and dear friends, who will continue to honor and remember his life.
