David Allan Hyde

May 7, 1964 - January 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that I announce my beloved husband and soulmate passed away unexpectedly on the 9th of January 2021 at 2:04pm, at the age of 56.

David will be lovingly remembered by his Wife and best friend of 20 years, Karen Hyde; his 5 daughters, Catrina Mehr, Sara Ibrahimi and spouse Buddy Bryant, Tricia and spouse Matt Ghent, Jennifer Hyde and boyfriend DeAndere Patterson, and Lila Ibrahimi.

David, or better known to them as "Papa" will be fondly remembered by his 10 Grandchildren, Adrianna, Elijah, Samantha, Ryan, Jocelyn, Jonathan, Caleb, Jaxon, Aiden, and Isaiah.

David will also be forever remembered by his sister, Phyllis Pryor (Robert); brothers, Mark (Rose) and Greg; nieces, Katherine and Cassandra; great-niece, Victoria; nephew, Benjamin (Carrie); and great-nephew, Theodore; as well as other numerous friends and family members who's lives he touched dearly.

David is predeceased by his father Benjamin Hyde and mother Elena Hyde.

Dave was a native of Utica, New York but resided in Fredericksburg, Va. He was a disabled Vet and proud of it, not a day went by that he didn't talk about proudly serving his country. His hobbies consisted of camping playing Dungeons and Dragons and cooking. He loved spending time with his family and teaching his grandchildren different things and telling stories of his time spent over seas

A celebration of life will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 2:00pm

David will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery where he will receive a Full Honor Funeral sometime early spring. Those dates will be announced once they are given to his wife.
