Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband William Stephen McCray, parents Corwin J. and Carmen L. (Tinder) Allen, sister Madeline C. Pearl and brother-in-law Covel R. Pearl, sister Betty C. Rhoad, and step brother-in-law James D. Netherton.
She is survived by sons Michael A. McCray (Margaret A.) of Pensacola, Florida, Mark W. McCray (Beth T.) of Richmond, Virginia, David S. McCray (Tammy E.) of Caroline County, Virginia and daughter Rebecca C. Griffith (Allen B.) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, sister-in-law Willa Jean Hughes of Albuquerque, New Mexico, step sister-in-law Mary L. Netherton, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved children, baking and sewing. She was a joy to be with and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
