I worked with Ed for only a short period of time when I realized this man is a sweetheart. I will miss that smiling face of his!

I was very sorry to hear about the passing of my cousin Edward.  What I most regret is not getting together or staying in touch over the years. Life is truly very precious and moments are gone before we know it.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.  May God bless you and keep you safe. To the family of Ed Walker, my heart is so sad for you all.  My beloved and dear husband Roy worked with him and passed away just three weeks ago.  You are all in my prayers.  Roy so enjoyed working with Ed.

Ed, Just like many of the other notes that I have read here, I have to thank you for what you have given me. Even know that our lives have taken their own paths after retirement, only crossing on the Quantico range radio net lately. My path forged by the art of the marksman that you were able to instill in me.   I still remember how you taught me to shoot the rifle and I paid you back by teaching you to shoot the pistol. You were clearly the better teacher. (And a lot of other old jokes) The world is a safer place due to the knowledge that you created and passed on. Thank you brother.
I believe that you had a good life and that is all that we can ask for. We will see you again.
Joyce,  As Ann expressed, we are truly sorry for your loss. I hope you know that if there is anything that we can do to assist in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us. I am sorry that I could not be there today, the Marine Corps has me out of town. Our thoughts have been with you and your family all day.

Ed presence will be forever "etched" into the minds and hearts of those that had the pleasure of knowing him as Marine, father, familyman,  instructor and friend. Your journey is over my friend and colleague. Rest well  You will be surely missed.

I didnt know Ed as well as many others, but I always looked forward to the days he was running the range for us.  It was sure to be a day of laughs.  He could always keep the mood light and he will be missed by many.  My prayers and condolensces to all his family and loved ones.

Please accept our sincerest condolences. We at DS learned a lot from Ed over the years.  He was an amazing instructor who certainly played an important role in preparing us with the skills necessary to survive in the field.  Moreover, he was truly a great man with a huge heart. Dear Joyce and family, Fast Eddie and I met on Range 4.  We coached together and hit it off right away.  He had plenty of humor to share with all.  Many of us will miss him and never forget him.  I'm sure our friend Louis Tippe will never forget the the day he shot and joined the 500 club with GYSGT. Ed "Fast Eddie" Walker behind the scope. Ed helped make MC history that day. Joyce, we are so sorry too hear the news about Ed. We will always have wonderful memories from Hawaii. Melissa and Sarah thought he was so cool with his tattoos, Harley  and the nick name they had for him "Bad Boy" We will all miss him. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

You will be missed. No matter how long the day, or bad the conditions, range days were always a good time because you were there. You were involved in preparing thousands of DS Agents for assignments in every corner of the world. You were always professional, yet firm, and held my appreciation and respect. I did not know Ed Walker on a personal level, but I knew him through his wife, Joyce.  Ed was a man I grew to know as a provider, a caretaker, a man of character and grace, and a man everyone around him could depend on.  He was the strength.  My heart is heavy, as my words cannot express my most sincere wishes for a peace and a calm for Mr. Walker's family and of course, Joyce.  I wish for Joyce that strength that I knew Ed to provide to her in her greatest time of need, and I wish for her a sense of comfort that those in her life who care for her, are with her in this time of sorrow.  I'd would like to say to the Marine in Mr. Walker, thank you, Sir for your service to this country!

I've known Ed since 1985 at Puuloa.  A PMI, a SAWIS instructor, and later an  accomplished and Distinguished Marksman with the Marine Corps Shooting Teams.  Throughout, a fine Marine.  And recently Ed's employ with the Dipolomatic Security Training Center with Dave Pshak, training at Quantico.  But since 1985, Ed Walker has been my friend.  If you knew him, you couldn't help but be his friend. And of him, that will be what I will miss the most.  Until we meet again my friend.

You have been a big brother to me since 1985. I couldn't have ask for a better one. Love you Bro
