She was born on April 7, 1932in West Virginia to Russell and Lydia (Keene) Farris.
Lou retired from the federal government as a GS14 with GSA.
She was a loving wife for 47 years to Joseph William Tedesco, who preceded her in death.
Lou is survived by two daughters; Marybeth Price and husband Melvin and Alisa I. Tedesco and fiancé Bruce Curry, three grandchildren; Craig, Joey and Alisa Price, three great grandchildren Carlos Reina, Brianna Perez, Jasmin Perez; brother Paul Farris; sister Yvonne Smallwood as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday February 9, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Fredericksburg Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday February 10, at the funeral home at 11:30 am, with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring, Maryland 20906 at 2:00 PM.
