George was a Vietnam veteran. He was in the 1rst Air Cav Div., 2/8 Bravo company. He went to Vietnam as a private and came home as a sergeant E-5 after 13 ½ months.
His hobbies include target shooting, model trains, and boating. He was a history buff and read anything concerning the Civil War, WW I, and WW II.
He is survived by his partner of 27 years, Tracy Rees; his stepson, Robert Gilley and his brother Richard Park.
He was preceded in death by his father, George F Brinton II and mother, Joan Brinton
A memorial mass will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 15 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
