He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandy Johnson; children, Bryan, Bradley and Bruce Johnson; brothers, Jerry, Van and David Johnson; sister, Janene Helm; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He retired from the Air Force in 1982 after 20 years of service. He also worked for GE and Lockheed Martin and later became a consultant. He enjoyed his family and will be greatly missed by everyone.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. Funeral service will be held at the National Museum of the Marine Corps at 12 p.m. Monday, February 4, interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
