Joel was born April 22, 1974 in Norfolk, Virginia.
He enjoyed playing golf and loved fine cigars. Over the years, he was involved with a number of charitable causes.
Joel is survived by his wife, Christiane Tassa Jarvis; his father, Allen J. Jarvis III.; his brother, Allen J. Jarvis IV.; and his sister, Julie Jarvis Graves.
He is also survived by his children, Kallen Lee Jarvis and Kaitlyn Rose Jarvis; his nephews, Aaron Jarvis, Andrew Jarvis and Silas Graves; and his niece, Annika Graves.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn L. DiSciullo Jarvis.
A private family service will be held in his memory.
