John Watson Hall 78, of Fredericksburg passed away at his home on April 20, 2017, after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his son Christopher W. Hall, (wife Rebecca), four grandchildren Andrew (19), Grace (16), MaryWinn (14), and Wilson (9); his sister, Betty Horton (Gary); nephew Dan Horton (Wanda), and nieces Liz Olsen (John), and Allison Ford (Dave).John was a 1957 graduate of The James Monroe High School and graduated from VPI in 1963 with a degree in electrical engineering. John enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing with the “Round Table” at FCC and numerous other friends, working on the farm, boating on the Potomac and traveling.
