Judith Ellis Gentry, 78, passed away on November 11, 2016, at home. She is survived by her son, James Cropper (Bill) of Newtown Va.; her daughter, Cheryl Nelson (James) of St. Stephens Church, Va.; a sister, Jeannette Ellis of Richmond, Va.; and her brother, Ed Ellis Jr. (Pattie) of Hot Springs, N.C. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Darleen Barnes of Orange, Va., Larry Gentry (Dianne) of Houston, Texas and Gerry Gentry of Hayes, Va. Judy was preceded by her husband and the love her life, Lester Gentry. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 17, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, where a service will be held at on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to MCV Foundation/Pauley Heart Center and sent to P.O. 980275, Richmond, Va. 23298.
