

He was born in New Haven, CT, on June 29, 1963, and was the son of the late Willie McKenzie Rose and Willie Dean Rose.
Prior to retiring, Kevin was employed by the City of New Haven, Traffic and Parking Division.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren whom he loved and adored, daughters, Tiffany M. Rose, Ivory Moore, and Elizabeth “Doris” Mack; one son, Kevin M. Rose; and grandchildren, Erin Johnson, Ariel Johnson, Kennedi Mack, and Kasey Mack.
Kevin is also survived by sisters, Brenda Avery, Patricia Hill (Alvin), Barbara Lewis, and Marlene Rose; brothers, William Rose (Betty), Walter Rose (Rosalie), and Gary Rose (Beatrice); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Kevin was predeceased by a brother, James Rose; sisters, Joann Thompson, Sara Rose, and Debra Rose; brother-in-laws, Charles Lewis and Albert Thompson, Kevin Avery; two nephews, William Rose, Jr., Jamal Thompson; one niece, Monique Carpenter.
A celebration of his life will be held at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service,1621 Emancipation Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22401 on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 12:30pm. Visitation will be from 11:30am-12:30pm and his burial will follow the services at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
