Laura Williams Lowe

Laura was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, James Lowe; children, James Lowe Jr "Jay" (Terri). and Michelle Hughes (Jesepth) ; siblings, Phillip Williams (Rhonda) and Annette Newton; and grandchildren, Hailey Rosa-Wood (Ryan) , Lake Lowe, Alex Lowe, and Garrett Bourne. She was also a great-grandmother to Blake Rosa-Wood.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Lowe "Timmy"(Monica), siblings Jeanette Griczin, Steve Williams, and James Whitfield Williams II.

Laura touched the hearts of everyone she met with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. She will be remembered for her passion for her family, love to cook and host holidays, her love for birds and flowers, and spending time with her family & friends.

A visitation for Laura will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. An interment will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Laura’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
