She is survived by her daughter: Rhonda Griffin, and her friend James Snyder; her son: James Fite, and his wife Valerie Fite; her sister: Sandra Cox; her two brothers: Walter White and Ray Acors; and five grandchildren: Brandi, Thomas, Matthew, Ashley, and Christina.
Pallbearers for Lawanda Fite will be James Fite, James Snyder, Troy Haley, Donald Sullivan, Michael Crabtree, and Timothy Gaumer.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A graveside will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Laurel Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Sherman Davis officiating.
