Lorna Johnston Wilson

She was born on March 9, 1947, in Syracuse, New York to the late Lorne Douglas and Evelyn Louise (Saul) Johnston. Lorna was the 2nd child of Lorne and Evelyn.

The first 13 years of her life she lived in Syracuse and in 1957 the Johnston family relocated to Washington, DC. Lorna graduated from Anacostia High School in 1965 and went to work in the DC Corporate World.

Most of Lorna’s work life was in the law field. She worked for various law firms and was an Executive Administrator of the American Bar Association. She retired from that position in 2012 and moved with Bill from Springfield, VA to Fredericksburg, VA. She and Bill were avid skiers and loved to travel, especially to Europe.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, William Wilson, Jr. and brother, Charles Johnston.

Survivors include loving sister, Deborah Thompson and husband Steven and their daughter Lauren; as well as step-children Jennifer Vickery and Michael Wilson.
