She was born on July 4, 1941, in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late John Huggard and Agnes Burke.
She is predeceased by her husband, Martin G. Hanse; parents, John Huggard and Agnes Burke.
She is survived by her children, Martin Hanse, Jr. (Trine), Sean Hanse (Nancy) and Christine Hanse (Mark); brothers, John Huggard and Phillip Huggard; sisters, Eileen Huggard and Lucille Cordwin; grandchildren, Victoria, Matthew, Martin lll, Thor, Margaret, Thea, Sean, Gregory and Emma Grace; great grandchildren, Juliette and Elizabeth
A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. Following the visitation will be a funeral mass at 1:30 PM at Saint Mary of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1009 Stafford Avenue, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
