She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Col. (Ret.) Wesley Blair Hester; daughter Courtney Blair Hester (Sister Mary Agatha, O.P.); son, Scott Cody Hester; and two brothers, Bruce and Wayne Hill, both of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Freeman Hill, and Sarah Frances Swingley.
She will be interred at Quantico National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
In lieu of flowers donations made be made in her name to the United States Air Force Academy, the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia, or Westie Rescue USA.
