Ralph "Gordon" Blaine 78, of Beaverdam, VA, previously of Alexandria, VA passed away on March 4, 2015 at his residence. He was a member of the Teamsters Union #639 for over 20 years. Most of all "Gordon" was a dearly loved relative/friend/character, who was kindhearted, compassionate and entertaining. We will miss his high spirited antics but are betting that his odds for happiness in heaven are 100 to 1 - a sure winner!
He is survived by his sister Linda Harrison (Vincent Harrison), brother James Blaine (Cecilia Blaine), son Ralph Gordon Blaine, Jr (Joellen Blaine);step-children Robert Nalls, Donna Nalls, Deena Kennison, grandchildren Ryan Blaine, Dale Nalls, Anthony Blaine and Nathan Blaine; 2 great-grandchildren and lots of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a special love "Mary".
He was preceded in death by his son Brian Blaine in 2007.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg at 2:00 pm, with the family recieving friends starting at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
